The road to medals through eye tracking
The eyes play an important role in how we gather information and act. The way the eyes of an athlete move and how the athletes focus the gaze can have a huge impact on the performance and therefore also on whether the athlete wins a medal or not.
Eye tracking is a way to measure where a person is looking. The technology has shown great potential in many areas. Recent research shows that the technology can become very valuable when analyzing the performance of athletes. In this talk we will give an introduction to eye tracking, explain how it can be used in daily training of athletes. We will also present some recent results from our experiments with elite athletes.
